Sunny Bindra; Example of New and Old Media Merging?

I was impressed to see that Sunny Bindra is now on twitter at sunnysunwords. Sunny writes the column "A Sunny Day" in the Sunday Nation, which is one of my favorite!

Interestingly, Sunny writes he was reluctant to use Twitter. He seems to have taken to it like a duck to water; in his first month he has 397 tweeps following him and he has written 192 tweets.

His twitter profile led me to his website sunwords.com. Sunny says it contains all the articles (more than 400) that he has written in the last few years.

One of the critiques about the world wide web (WWW) in Kenya was the absence of content. That may soon be a thing of the past as seasoned writers from old print media, like Sunny and Oyunga Pala, develop their own websites and put up their great writing!

Is new and old media merging? Should old media be afraid or will new media compliment it?
