Safaricom Simplifies Managing Internet Data Bundles

Early this year writing about the great Safaricom 3G Internet service, I expressed frustration with the process for purchasing data bundles.

So I was thrilled yesterday to see that Safaricom has now simplified the process of managing the data Internet bundles, through a website page.

When connected to the Internet using a Safaricom modem or phone, open the web page  http://www.safaricom.com/bundles/ and you immediately get the following information; Account Type, Airtime Balance, Data Bundle Balance, and Data Bundle Expiry Date.

There are two easy options to manage your data bundles and a feedback page on this service;

Top Up Your Data Line

Your phone number is listed and there is an input area for your 12 or 16 digit code. You can also purchase air time, or is it data time, for another line.

Buy a Bundle

The choice of 9 bundle options are clearly listed, showing the data packages and how much they cost e.g. 200Mb (Ksh. 500).
