Google Chrome Browser

Google Chrome is my default and preferred browser. I made the switch from the Mozilla Firefox 5 months ago and I am so glad I did.

In all fairness to Mozilla Firefox, other than the browser being a memory hog, I was happy and content. My restlessness and eagerness to try something new provided the energy to try a new browser with its new quirks; the main one being the list of most visited pages when you open the browser or a new tab which I prefer in the list view.

I love Google Chrome have decide to stay because of the following three features;
  • It does not use as much memory as Mozilla Firefox; Chrome rarely slows down my computer. Chrome rarely crashes.
  • The first option on the menu when you right click a link is ‘Open link in new tab’ and ‘Open link in new window’ is second. This order is reversed in Firefox. It may be a small change but exactly what I want.
  • Last and most important, the sync feature enables me to keep my bookmarks synchronized on multiple computers, home and work for me, through my Google Account. This saves me the pain of having different bookmarks or having to manually keep them synchronized. The browser preference and themes can also by synced.
